Martin Barco Dominates at Bloomington North
Martin Barco did what he has done all season long and dominated at the Bloomington North Regional, winning both the 800m and 1600m titles in dominant fashion. In the 800m, Barco finished with a time of 1:52.17, winning the title by 0.73 seconds over Caleb Winders. In the 1600m, he finished with a time of 4:13.28, winning by almost a second. This was Barco's third year in a row winning the Regional 1600m title. Barco currently ranks #1 in Indiana this season in the 800m and 1-mile races, and ranks #2 in the 3200m.

Mason Schmitz Runs IN Freshmen #2 800m Time All-Time
Hamilton Southeastern standout freshman Mason Schmitz made a little bit of history with yet another 800m PR at the Lafayette Regional, running a time of 1:52.89. This was Schmitz's third straight PR in the event, and lowered his #2 Indiana class mark down from his mark of 1:54.74 from earlier this season. Schmitz ranks only behind Caleb Winders with a time of 1:52.68 from last year on the all-time freshman list in Indiana. Nationally, Schmitz ranks #2 in his class for the 800m this season and he ranks 15th all-time for all boys freshmen all-time.

Jaidyn Johnson Continues His Undefeated Season
Easily Indiana's top ranked sprinter this outdoor season, Jaidyn Johnson continued his undefeated season at the Bloomington North Regional, where he took home wins in the 100m and 200m. In the 100m, Johnson finished with a time of 10.43, winning by 0.41 seconds. In the 200m he won with a time of 21.59, winning by 0.51 seconds. It may not seem like huge margins, but in the sprint events, that's about as dominant as it gets.
Johnson currently ranks as the #1 sprinter in Indiana with times of 10.34 in the 100m and 21.15 in the 200m. Those times rank him 6th all-time in the 100m and tied for 5th all-time in the 200m. He ranks tied for 39th nationally this outdoor season in the 100m and is tied for 96th in the 200m.

Javion Westfield Dominates the Hurdles at Regional 4
Javion Westfield dominated the competition at the Fort Wayne Regional in the 110m and 300m hurdles. In the 110m hurdles, Westfield became the 23rd individual in state history to run under 14 seconds in the event. He finished with a time of 13.95, winning by 0.63 seconds. In the 300m hurdles, he finished with a time of 37.71 seconds, a time which ranks tied for 38th all-time in Indiana. His combined time in the events of 51.66 in both events, ranks 19th all-time in Indiana.

Jordan Randall Joins Exclusive High Jump Club
Joining an exclusive club on just included twelve boys prior to yesterday, Jordan Randall became just the 13th boy in Indiana state history to jump over 7 feet in the high jump outdoors and one of six boys to go higher than 7 feet exactly. At the Goshen Regional, Randall jumped 7' 0.5" to set a new outdoor PR by 2.5 inches. Randall is also one of just nine individuals to jump over seven feet indoors. Overall, only eight boys in Indiana state history have jumped over seven feet indoors and outdoors, Randall is now one of those eight.

Denhm Holt Goes Sub 48
At the Pike Regional, Denhm Holt ran a huge PR in the 400m dash, with a time of 47.63 to win handily and shoot up the all-time 400m rankings in Indiana. His time of 47.63, was a 0.31 second personal best and moved Holt from 38th on the all-time rankings, all the way up to 16th. This was just his second time running under 48 seconds and he ranks #1 in Indiana this season for the 400m.

Penn 4x100m Team Dominates for #4 All-Time Rank
The Penn 4x100m team of Kohen Turner, Elijah Coker, Camden Anderson, and Kellen Watson dominated the competition at the Goshen Regional to the tune of Indiana's #4 all-time time of 41.11 seconds. They beat out Elkart in this race by 0.35 seconds and now rank at the #9 relay team nationally this outdoor season. Of note, the Elkhart boys relay team who finished second with a time of 41.46, ranks #15 all-time in Indiana.
Individually, Watson and Coker stood out at the Goshen Regional, with Watson taking home the 100m title, Coker taking home the 200m title, the long jump title, and being a part of the winning Penn 4x400m relay team.
