Cole Hocker keeps making history in 2024! Facing off against some of the best distance talent in the world, Hocker cemented his status as not only one of the best distance talents that the United States has but as one of the best in the world.
At the 2024 USATF Indoor Championships, Hocker ran in the 1500m and finished in 1st with a new meet record time of 3:37.51, just holding off a late-charging Hobbs Kessler for the win.
Hocker first took the lead in the race at the 800m mark and never looked back en route to a major win, an automatic qualification to the World Championships, and his second USA 1500m title.
