Will Conway Runs Indiana #2 All-Time 2-Mile

It was a record-breaking field that assembled at The Golden Dome High School two mile at the University of Notre Dame Alex Wilson Invitational and boy did the race not disappoint. The race was won by Foot Locker Champion Drew Griffith in a new 2-mile National Record on the 320m track.

Not far behind Griffith was Floyd Central senior Will Conway.

Conway finished with a time of 8:48.18 for the 2-mile, now ranking #2 all-time for Indiana boys all-time only behind Kole Mathison.

It was a tight race all the way up until the 2000m mark when Griffith started to pull away from the pack. The group of Pajak, Conway, Nalley, and Hansen was tight up until the last lap of the race. Conway was able to finish just behind Pajak after the kick and ahead of Nalley and Hansen.
