Jaidyn Johnson ran to a US #3 mark in the 60 meter dash on Sunday at the 4th Annual Morolake Akinosun Elite Invitational.
The senior standout, from Bloomington North, would run unattached in the meet where he would easily take the top position out of the prelims with a time of 6.79 before running to a 6.76 in the finals to run a US #3 performance at the time. His nearest competitor would be Landon Gallun from Wisconsin with his 6.89 effort.
Johnson currently holds the US #4 mark in the 60m after results from this weekend have been compiled. His time is currently US #4 and trails a trio of athletes that share the national leading time at 6.73. These runners are Jaden Wiley from Georgia, Germain Smith-Mata from Louisiana, and Jelani Watkins from Texas.
