The FootLocker (formerly Eastbay & Champs) Championship takes place this weekend and includes several runners from across the midwest. Unlike NXR this race is individual based with the top 10 boys and girls advancing to nationals in San Diego, California. There are only 4 regional meets which means that there are significantly more states represented. Runners from the following states make up the FootLocker Midwest Championship this year: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and U.S. citizens in Overseas Military Installations.
The boys have 165 returners from last year across the region with 27 of them being from Indiana.
