What's in a name?
There could be a million reasons why people have their given name.
When those reasons for a given first name, come together with an already cool last name, great name combos start to form.
I have searched through both boys and girls heat sheets for the IHSAA State Finals to find the "best" names in Track and Field that are competing at State over the weekend.
What we end up with are some fun categories, some great names, and then we finish it off with the 2023 "All-Name" Team.
Below you will find the categories, and for each athlete their school and events that they will compete in!
