Hoosier Open

As cross country action is ending, track and field action is just beginning. College meets are starting to take place as indoor season meets begin throughout the country.

The Hoosier Open, hosted at Gladstein Fieldhouse by Indiana University, saw a string of college athletes open their seasons and some their college careers. In the mix of competitors were many former Indiana high school athletes that performed very well at this early season meet.

Past IHSAA State Champions like Camden Marshall (Corydon Central), John Colquitt (Brownsburg), Maddie Russin (Crown Point) and others were event winners on the evening.

Many other all-state athletes competed throughout the evening winning events and posting great marks and times.
