Last weekend, junior Luke Collins competed in the 60m and 200m at the SEAAU Track & Field Indoor Invitational in Alabama.

Collins was 23rd in the 200m with a time of 23.77 and was 3rd in the 60m with a time of 7.17

We caught up with Luke to talk about his performance and the outlook for the indoor/outdoor track season. Collins has this to say about his training, "I feel like my training the last couple of months has been very good in preparing for the 60 meter and the 200 meters. I was happy with how I performed after my first meet this past weekend"

Collins thinks he has more to prove saying "I feel that I have more potential right now than I showed. In these following weeks of training, I'm going to have to push myself even harder and understand what it is I need to do to showcase my real potential."

Luke will be back in action January 2nd at the USATF Indoor Hoover Alumni Invitational - Track Clubs Welcome. He will once again compete in the 60m and 200m.
