Sectional 21 - Mount Vernon
Franklin Central will be looking to win two sectional championships as the Flashes take to the course in Sectional 21 hosted by Mount Vernon. Both the boys and girls races could see as many as five Franklin Central runners in the top ten.
Mount Vernon, Greenfield-Central, and Warren Central should have a good race for second in the boys competition, with Roncalli likely to fill out the regional field.
In the girls race, look for New Palestine's Brenna Shaw and Emma Mann to lead the field and lead the Dragons to a probable second place. Mount Vernon is the third best team in this race, while Warren Central, Roncalli and Greenfield-Central should fight for fourth and fifth.
The Mount Vernon sectional will get started at 10:00 AM.
