Throwback: Sabree Brooks Wins 11yr old 100 and 200

Last year, Sabree Brooks won both the 100 and 200 in the 11yr old division at the AAU Junior Olympic Games. She's back this year, entered in the 100, 200 and 400. She qualified with a 12.59, 25.72 and a 58.18 in each event respectively.

At the age of 10, Brooks demolished the 100m AAU record, running a 12.76. Beating the rest of the field by nearly 1.5 seconds. To break the now 12 year old record, Brooks will have to go sub-12, something she has not accomplished yet in her career.

Keep on eye on her, as she enters middle school this year and should be an automatic standout at that level here in Indiana.

The AAU Jr Olympic Games begin this Saturday, July 27th in Greensboro, NC. MileSplit will be onsite through the entire week of competition bringing you the best coverage of the meet. Watch the live stream below to following along with all the action.
