McBride became the state champ in the 200 after placing 6th at the 2016 champs. He also helped out with Evansville Harrison's All-State 4x100 team and placed 1st in the 100, giving himself a total of 2 state titles. Post-season competition is an area he excels in competing at USATF events and New Balance Outdoors.He placed 4th in the Midwest Meet of Champions in the 100 as well. McBride now competes for the University of Louisville as well.
