Sectional 2 - Crown Point
Participating Schools: 21st Century Charter - Gary, Andrean, Crown Point, Lighthouse CPA, Gary Roosevelt, Hanover Central, Hebron, Hobart, Lowell, Bowman Leadership Academy, Merrillville, River Forest.
This sectional is a battle between Lowell and Crown Point. Each year both teams score within just a few points of each other. Last year Lowell won both the boys and girls races to advance.
Boys
It should be a close back and forth between Alec Fleming and Geno Christofanelli. I'm going to give it to Fleming just because of his experience and he has run just a little better so far this season.
Team wise I'm going to go with Lowell coming in first, followed by Crown Point in 2nd, Merrillville, Hebron and Hanover Central should also advance to the regional meet.

Girls
This race will be very similar to the boys with it being a battle between Lowell and Crown Point for the team title. Jordyn Boyer of Lowell looks to be the girl to win it, she won the regional and semi-state last year and has only lost once this season. Maddie Russin of Crown Point should come in 2nd with a couple of her teammates close behind.
Team wise I think Crown Point has a little more strength this year and should take first with Lowell in 2nd, Merrillville, Hebron and Hanover Central should also advance out.
