One of the bigger questions entering this season is what will be the eligibility status of Alexa Efraimson. If she will turn pro, run for her high school team, or remain her status quo from last year entering a few elite pro and college meets unattached while still keeping her amateuer status. The 2013 Nike Cross Nationals champion and rising senior at Camas High School in Washington, Efraimson is clearly the nation's best returning distance runner. The high school outdoor national record holder in the 1600 (4:33.29 at Washington State Meet), Efraimson would be looking to replicate her major achievement from last fall of taking the Nike Cross Nationals title in a course record time of 16:50 at Portland Meadows.
