VINCENNES, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's and women's track and field teams recorded six first-place finishes Saturday at the Vincennes University Billy Smith Open.
Senior
Holly Bartelt was first in the women's 800 meters, while freshman
Kaylee McClanahan finished first in the women's 1,500 meters. Junior
Lauren Seidl and sophomore
Rebekah Hoffman rounded out the women's squad's top performers with first-place efforts in the triple jump and javelin, respectively.
Junior
Russell Farris and sophomore
Michael Callison led the Screaming Eagles' men with first-place finishes in the javelin and 3,000-meter steeplechase, respectively.
USI returns to action April 1-2 when it competes at the Washington Invitational in St. Louis, Missouri.
