CHARLESTON, Ill.—The University of Southern Indiana men's track and field team recorded five top-10 finishes at the Eastern Illinois University Friday Night Special.

Senior Andrew Menner and freshman Michael Callison led the Screaming Eagles with a pair of fifth-place finishes. Menner ran the 1,000 meters in two minutes, 37.53 seconds to record his fifth-place finish, while Callison ran the 3,000 meters in eight minutes, 46.44 seconds to post his fifth-place finish.

Rounding out the Eagles' top-10 finishers was sophomore Dustin Emerick, freshman Michael Whitehead, and freshman Andrew Shellah. Emerick was eighth in the mile, while Whitehead was ninth in the 800 meters. Shellah finished 10th in the 1,000 meters.

The Eagles return to action February 26-27 when they travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to compete in the GLVC Indoor Championships. The NCAA II Indoor Championships are March 12-13 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
