WALNUT, Calif.—University of Southern Indiana women's track and field junior
Jackie Henderson shattered her own school record in the 10,000 meters Thursday night at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Henderson, who finished 10th in the Olympic Development race, crossed the finish line with an NCAA II provisional qualifying mark of 35 minutes, 8.23 seconds, less than nine ticks off an automatic qualifying time. She set the previous school record of 35 minutes, 51.66 seconds at the Mt. SAC Relays last year.

Kaylee McClanahan and junior
Adrienne Curtis each recorded provisional marks.
McClanahan, who was 10th in the Olympic Development race, broke Casey Schneider's USI freshman record as she crossed the finish line in 36 minutes, 18.77 seconds. Curtis was 33rd in the Open University race with a time of 36 minutes, 34.85 seconds.
USI returns to action Saturday when it competes at the Bellarmine University Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky.
