BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's track and field team opened the 2010 indoor season by recording three top-10 finishes at the Indiana University Gladstein Invitational Friday night at the Gladstein Fieldhouse.

Senior All-American Mary Ballinger led the Screaming Eagles with a fifth-place finish in the 3,000-meter invitational, posting a time of 10 minutes, 00.13 seconds.

In addition to Ballinger, sophomores Jackie Henderson and Adrienne Curtis placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 3,000-meter invitational.

The Eagles return to action when they compete at the Indiana Relays in Bloomington, Indiana, January 29-30.
