North Central XC Warmup (IN)
The Pre-Season No. 4 ranked Carmel girls swept the top eight spots at the pre-season 4k race, led by individual champion Sarah Leinheiser (pictured below) with a time of 14:53.27 (worth about 18:51 for 5k).
The entire top seven ran under 16 minutes, with the top five scorers (Leinheiser, Madelyn Dalton, Christina Geisler, Megan Kress, Samantha Miller) under 15:39.
William J. Harris led the Carmel boys to the team title, running 13:17.3 for 4k (worth about 16:50 for 5k).
