Meet Information
Coaches,
Here are some general reminders for the County Meet. All shots/discus should be weighed in at thetiming stand on the turf near the start/finish line ideally as soon as your bus arrives. We will have acoaches meeting at the start finish line at 4:45. All scratches need to be to the press box on thesouth end (opposite the scoreboard) as soon as you get to the track. This is imperative.Advancement to sprint finals will be top 2 in each heat and next 4 fastest times as well as a changein the field events being 4 throws in each and 4 jumps in long jump with no finals occurring. Wewould like to do 1hr of boys (5pm-6pm) and 1 hr of girls (6pm-7pm) in the long jump so please getyour athletes there, warmed up, and ready to jump so they have the best chance to be done withoutworrying too much about other events. Opening heights will be 5'2" and 4'2" unless we have weatherissues and we can revisit that at the meeting. Camps can be set up under the home stands oranywhere outside of the short fence on the visitor side as well as in the visitor bleacher. Please keepyour kids away from the track if warming up on the turf and away from the camera/start line at alltimes. Our athletic trainer Jen will be in the middle of the field near the start line on a gator. If youhave any questions during the meet please feel free to find myself, Mr. Zgunda our AD, or a starter if able.
Thanks!
Coach Conley
