IU Track Sweeps First Weekly Big Ten Honors Dec 11, 2012

Indiana track and field opened its season at the Hoosier Open, and four Hoosiers have garnered Big Ten Athlete of the Week honors for their efforts. Kelsey Duerksen and Zach Mayhew are the Big Ten Track Athletes of the Week, and Derek Drouin and Courtney Woodard are the Big Ten Field Athletes of the Week. Drouin is a Big Ten Athlete of the Week for the sixth time in his career, while Duerksen wins her second honor and Mayhew and Woodard both claim their first. (via www.iuhoosiers.com)

Mayhew Leads IU in Season Opener Dec 11, 2012

Wabash's Whittington Sets Record Competing at Hoosier Open Dec 10, 2012

Joel Whittington was just one of several Wabash track and field athletes that competed against Division I athletes from Indiana, Kentucky, Ball State and Butler Friday night at the Hoosier Open. Whittington set a new Wabash record in 300-meter dash at the event. (via Wabash College)
