EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's and women's cross country teams both fell in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Top 25 polls.
USI's men, who finished second at the NCAA II Midwest Region Championships this past Saturday, fell five spots to 11th, while the women dropped six spots to 24th after placing fifth at the NCAA II Midwest Region Championships.
The Screaming Eagles qualified for the men's NCAA II National Championships for the seventh straight year with their second-place finish at the regional meet. USI's women, however, saw its season come to a close after finishing six-points shy of earning a berth to the national meet despite running without senior All-American
Jackie Henderson.
