National Rankings (pdf.)

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's and women's cross country teams held their position in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Top 25 poll.

USI's men are ranked sixth, nationally, and second in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region rankings, while the women are 19th in the national rankings and fourth in the region rankings. Bellarmine University was the only other Great Lakes Valley Conference school to be ranked in the national rankings as the Knights were 17th in both polls.

The Screaming Eagles return to action Saturday at 10:30 a.m. when the women's squad competes at the Fast Cats Classic in Owensboro, Kentucky. USI's men are not expected to compete as a team Saturday.

Saturday's meet is the final tune-up for the women's squad before USI hosts the GLVC Championships October 22 at the USI Cross Country Course.
