Sophomore Lauren Zeabart (Fort Branch, Ind. / Gibson Southern) has paced the University of Evansville women's cross country team in each meet this season, and she did so this week in record time. Zeabart ran the 5K race at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships in a personal record time of 18:56.60 on Friday to place 30th overall and lead coach Don Walters' Purple Aces to a seventh place finish out of 20 teams. It was one of Evansville's top finishes in the history of the Indiana Intercollegiates, hosted this year by Purdue University.
