LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Freshman Jeff McClure set a school-record in the long jump to lead the University of Southern Indiana men's track and field team at the Bellarmine University Invitational Saturday evening.

McClure, who also plays soccer at USI, won the long jump with his leap of 21 feet, 9.00 inches. McClure's finish was one of two first-place efforts the Screaming Eagles recorded and one of 11 top-five efforts.

In addition to McClure, junior Wes Masterson finished first in the 800 meters with a time of one minutes, 59.90 seconds.

The Eagles return to action May 7-8 when they compete at the GLVC Championships in Rolla, Missouri.
