There are some potentially amazing story lines heading into the 2022 season. 

• There is a returning state record holder in the shot put.
• The 100m/200m events have the same top-ranked performer.
• The 110m and 300m hurdles enjoy the same status. Could we see multiple double-winners?
• The state champion in cross country broke 9:00 on the track after the state meet and returns with a 1:52 and 4:07 resume.
• An All-American at the Eastbay National Championships is primed to run fast.
• Oh, an we have a 7-0 high jumper coming back, too. (And a 6-9 sophomore for that matter!)
• We could have back-to-back Hobart state champions in the Pole Vault.
