National Girls Performer Of The Week (11/9-11/15)

At the TSSAA State Cross Country Championship, Jenna Hutchins earned her second state cross country title. Hutchins completed the 5K course at Sanders Ferry Parkway in Hendersonville, Tennessee in 16:30.84. This was her fifth sub-17 minute for 5K performance of the season.

In the Division 1 Large Section, the Science Hill (TN) junior finished 94.4 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and earned a speed rating of 168. 

Hutchins has earned four National Girls Performer of the Week honors. After her stellar performance at her state meet, Hutchins accumulated about 49-percent of the vote. Out of 2,479 votes, Hutchins tallied 1,210 of them. 

A big congratulations goes out to Hutchins on the recognition.
