Regional 13 - Columbus North
Regional #13 is hosted by Columbus North, and the hosts boast one of the best cross country programs in the state. Columbus North's boys team is a favorite to win the state meet this year, and the girls team could contend for the state title as well. If the Bulldogs run their best lineup, they should be able to cruise to two regional championships this weekend.
Seymour and Jennings County will run for second in the boys race. Places 10-20 could be almost entirely occupied by runners from those two schools. Austin and Martinsville are also expected to advance to next week's semi-state.
Brown County will be chasing Seymour for second place in the girls race. Madison Consolidated and Columbus East should have a good fight for fourth, and both should advance.
This regional will be run at Ceraland Park, and will get started at 10:30 AM Eastern Time.
