2015 was a great year for Illinois speedsters and Josh Eiker of Galesburg was living like a king atop the sprinting throne. After dominating his foes during this state schedule campaign, Eiker was poised to test himself to the max at the prestigious Brooks PR meet in Seattle, WA.
The fun-filled trip leading up to Saturday's serious competition kept the invited athletes poised and relaxed. Eiker, who was entered in the 100m, wanted to make a mark on against some national competition before he would head off to the University of Illinois.
Eiker got out satisfactory in his race and sped down the track to an impressive third-place finish in 10.61 [+1.6].
