Three years ago yesterday, some of the fastest boys in the class of 2020 showed off on the track for their first big time race. The Flashes Showcase at Franklin Central has been a staple meet for the distance community for years now.
In one of the few full mile racing opportunities of the year, the states top distance boys and girls take to the track for a full night of 1 mile racing! The ultimate winner of the night, Jack Gillard, won in 4:33.33, just .10 ahead of Reece Gibson from Concordia. Both boys have gone on to become top names in the distance running community in Indiana. 3 boys from this race alone finished in the top 10 of the state cross country meet this past season as well.
