Coverage From The BW High School Indoor Meet

Baldwin Wallace University hosted their annual high school indoor meet on Sunday at the Harrison Dillard Center in Berea. 

In relay action, led by Annie Allen and Marie Musser, Saint Joseph Academy took first in the 4x800 due to their 10:42.01 clocking. The squad from Cleveland is ranked twenty-first in the state from a performance earlier this season (10:36.48 at the NEOITC Series White Division #1 meet). 

On the boys side, the powerful thrower from Rocky River, Michael Shoaf did what he typically does - win. This time the senior, who's headed to Notre Dame, tossed the shot put 58-6.25 for a comfortable victory over Tanner Watson of Brecksville-Broadview Heights, who posted a strong mark of 52-3.5. Watson's result represents a new personal best throw.

Elsewhere, Independence's Robert Artrip vaulted 14-6 for a decisive win. This is a personal best vault and a tie for Ohio #7 for the senior. 

Luke Good captured the 800 victory in just over 2 minutes. The Hudson junior recorded an official clocking of 2:01.18 for a new pr.
