LANDOVER, MARYLAND -- St. John's College (DC) High School senior Alahna Sabbahkan went after her first effort at 500 meters on Thursday and dropped a US No. 5 time of 1:15.77.
The effort was just five-tenths off her career best of 1:15.22 from last season at the Montgomery Invitational.
The University of Virginia signee also ran 41.48 seconds in the 300m, just two-hundreds of a second off of her career best.
