Semira Killebrew Commits To University of North Carolina

Brebeuf Jesuit senior Semira Killebrew took to Twitter on Monday to announce her college decision.

She will be attending the University of North Carolina.

Killebrew was the state champion in the 100 meter dash this past spring and then took seventh in the USA Junior Nationals, competing against the nation's top high school and college athletes.

Killebrew holds PRs of 11.55 and 23.73 in the 100m and 200m, respectively. She has one more season competing for the Braves, where she will surely be the biggest impact on the team's ability to place high at the state meet come June and even in March for indoor.

Semira Killebrew wants to go into the medical field and UNC has one of the top ranked medical programs in the country, so it was an easy decision when visiting schools to pick there over other schools for that reason.
