Henderson, graduated last spring from Lafayette Jefferson HS, and now has moved on to the college level competing for Iowa State. She competed in early season Indoor meet back on December 8th, oh and she won the Shot Put, throwing 14.61. (47' 11.25"). So she's off to a good start already at the college level. But back to her high school career. In discus, she went undefeated from April 2016 until the state meet this past June, with an all-time record for 158' 1" at the right moment, state. In the shot, she won 4 of her 5 competitions this year, also winning the state title. Henderson more than earned her spot on this list. The only thing that would have made her even better would have been to see her attempt to compete with some of the nations best at any of the National level meets.
