Buckeye Valley's Zach Kreft Commits to the University of Notre Dame

           Buckeye Valley's Zach Kreft will compete for the University of Notre Dame. 


The country's top ranked athlete for the 5K distance has confirmed his college choice.  Buckeye Valley High School's Zach Kreft has announced that he'll be attending the University of Notre Dame to compete for the Fighting Irish next year!

Zach Kreft has had an outstanding cross country season to date, as he's collected seven race wins in eight starts and he currently resides as the nation's top ranked 5K runner from his 14:29.95 result at September's Midwest Meet of Champions.  On the track, Kreft competes in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m events where he holds impressive PR's of 1:57.98 (outdoor), 4:10.10 (outdoor) and 9:12.89 (indoor).
