Above all things, I am a Christian. I have been at East Newton for eleven years (this was my first school). I have had the privilege of working with my high school cross country and track coach, Mark Vanslyke, each of these years. I am entering my 8th year as the cross country head coach after serving as the assistant under Kern Sorrell for three seasons. I have been blessed to be associated with some fantastic kids all of these seasons, and each year it gets harder to let them go. This year's group of seniors has put in a tremendous amount of work and hopefully this will be a fantastic finish to their careers.
