The Bellarmine coaching staff was pleased with their teams' races. “We ran our race and had some outstanding performances from our girls,” said women's coach
Kris Horton adding, “USI just ran a great race and edged us out. We are still in good position to qualify for the NCAAs.”
Director of Cross Country and Track
Jim Vargo also tipped his hat to the host Screaming Eagles. “We had a solid day. Our men were closing, but just could not get there as USI ran well.”
Both teams will advance to the NCAA Regionals, which will be hosted by Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich., on Saturday Nov. 5.
