Ben Myers - Sophomore
Going into NXN, I was mainly looking forward to the quality time with the team. I got just that. Every second was spent with them. My favorite memory was walking around the Nike campus because we could go anywhere we wanted, and I felt so free. I roomed with Ben Johnson and Calvin Bates, two underclassmen that I will run with next year. I feel like we did well as a team in the race, but I always think we could do a little better. If we make it back next year, I think we will have a bigger advantage since three of us know how to run the course because that last hill killed me. Honestly, just the fact that everyone at NXN was so talented was the biggest difference. It made me motivated. NXN 2017 will be remembered forever, but I have big ambitions for future NXN races.
