Analysis: Callum Bolger is primed to make his first national cross country meet this year. As a junior last year, he finished second to one of the top recruits in the country--future Oregon Duck and 4:01 miler Austin Tamagno--at the Divison III Boys CIF California State Cross Country Championships. Bolger has also posted exceptional finishes at the Foot Locker West Regional Meet: 14th in 2014, and 32nd in 2015.
On the track, Bolger has thrown down some impressive times, including 8:55.87 for the two mile, and 4:07.85 in the full mile.
California is known for churning out great distance runners, so Bolger is no stranger to elite competition. As evidenced by the quick track times he has dropped, Bolger is ready to make his mark on the national cross country scene this December.
