The Indiana girls were almost perfect winning the girls race with 16 points!  Indiana girls broke the low team score record of 23 points set in 1994 by the Pennsylvania girls.  Only Carly Davis  (from Dublin Jerome, Oh) at 5th overall in 18:37, broke up the Indiana Sweep!   First overall girl, Lauren Johnson (West Lafayette) 18:17 was followed by teammates;  2nd place Alex Buck (Pendleton Heights) 18:22, 3rd place, Katherine Free (Indianapolis Cathedral) 18:31, 4th Kristen Johnson  (West Lafayette) 18:34 and Madison Fruchey Ft. Wayne Carroll) 18:43 rounded out the Indian top five!  Lainey Studebaker, was  the 7th overall finisher (Centerville Oh) in 18:52

The Indiana boys also won the boys race with 32 points. Leading Indiana with a first place overall finish was  Brayden Law (Homestead) in 15:41.1 and Cooper Williams (West Lafayette) in 15:45.3.  The Ohio team was lead by Mitchell Poynter (Tippecanoe HS, OH) who was 3rd overall in 15:46.   Ohio had the first five in, ahead of Indiana's fourth runner, but Indiana's one-two finish proved the difference.

Fun fact:  Indiana's team fielded our first triplets; Lauren, Kristen and Evan Johnson!   Evan finished 18th over all in 16:14.7 in the boys race.
