Carmel Wins Warren Central Freshmen Invitational

The future of the Carmel Boy's Cross Country Team was on display today at the Warren Central Freshman Invitational run at a 4 K distance.  The Greyhounds won with 27 points and were followed by Brebeuf (46), Lawrence North (66), Franklin Central (98), Zionsville (120) and Warren Central (168).  Individual winner was Carmel's Conor Lyons with a time of 13:19.  Additional Carmel runners included Jonah Nichol (5th in 13:37), Kenji Tomozawa (6th in 13:38), Drew Watson (7th in 13:40), Evan Bouillet (8th in 13:41), Austin Weaver (14th in 13:59), Jacob Jenkins (21st in 14:14), Grant Cooley (25th in 14:20), Eric Boleman (33rd in 14:32), Evan Zatkulak (34th in 14:33), Sam Baker (35th in 14:40), Austin Casati (37th in 14:41), Ethan Gonzalez (42nd in 15:05) and Andrew LaBell (46th in 15:18).  Congratulations to a great Freshman squad who will lead Carmel High School into the future.

Carmel will next compete in tomorrow's MIC Championship at Ben Davis.
